SUMMARY:
Family Service of Winnetka-Northfield (FSWN) is a private, not-for-profit community service organization that promotes the emotional well-being of individuals and families through quality, affordable counseling and psychotherapy.
ISSUE:
FSWN was having a hard time managing marketing outreach and promoting their services on the web. Constricted by budget, they needed a lending hand to inform the community of their offerings. How would FSWN reach community members young and old? How can people know FSWN is available as a resource no matter their situation?
SOLUTION:
Being community-minded and believing in the cause effinity offered to be the lending hand FSWN needed. Recognizing the importance of their services to the people of Winnetka-Northfield, effinity sat down to see where they could help. After strategic planning, effinity decided to give the community a dynamic place to access FSWN on the web. effinity tactically designed and built a website pro bono with a content management system for FSWN.
RESULTS:
FSWN can now easily use their new website to help serve people in a way that wasn’t previously possible barring expensive resources. With their new content management system they can update news, events, newsletters, and education tools allowing it to be a valuable resource to old and new clients.
The site was successfully planned and developed; FSWN has continued a great relationship with effinity. Both share the tremendous wealth of community pride in being part of a successful attempt at helping people. |
